The 2010 FIFA World Cup is going to be a World Cup like no other. Not only is this the first time in history that South Africa will be hosting such a large sporting event, but it’s the first time that 3G artificial turf is going to get a feel of prestigious World Cup football studs on its synthetic grassy plane.  The 64 exciting matches of the 2010 World Cup will take place in ten famous stadiums in South Africa; Capetown, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Rustenburg, Nelspruit, Polkwane, Durban and Johannesburg, and Soweto. And for the first time ever, 3G artificial turf will be used by the world’s finest footballers for the biggest FIFA competition of the year.  Professional sports have been played on 3G artificial turf around the world for many years, but this is the first time that it’s being used for the World Cup games. As a FIFA approved synthetic turf manufacturer, we’re so pleased that attitudes are changing.  “I think it’s now time in this region to think about artificial turf.†— Sepp Blatter, FIFA president.  Our 3G artificial turf is safe, non-abrasive and of very high quality. We were the first UK manufacturer to become a licensee of the FIFA Quality Concept and always strive to deliver the most dynamic and innovative range of artificial grass surfaces.  In the final days running up to the official start of the World Cup, we’re getting excited!
